Well, I am actually watching a lot of stuff, but in a nutshell:

I carched up with Severance and Invincible.

I am at several episodes to finish Mr Robot third season.

I am slowly advancing through Cardcaptor Sakura anime and plan to start to watch the new DareDevil show.

Yeah, this is the Severance experience, I just hope they answer all the questions at the end, I don’t want to experience

Again.

I just want to say I admire your patience, I do know a lot of folks who would go crazy with the older games without rewind or fast forward functions.

With that said, if I were you I’d use a relatively cheap Chinese emulator that mimics as an older Nintendo handheld (check out Anbernic) and go with a DS and or a 3DS (either hacked or with a flashcart) to enjoy the two screen games properly and then just jump with the current series in the Switch.

I am actually on a similar quest right now, slowly advancing, but advancing nonetheless, this has been my journey so far:

• Beat Pokémon Yellow in a Miyoo Mini half through and finished it in my RG351V

• Pokemon Soul Silver was finished with my DS Lite, New Nintendo 3DS XL and finally my DSi XL (all progress kept with my R4 2015)

• Currently playing Pokémon Omega Ruby in a New Nintendo 3DS (the battery of the XL is kinda busted, and I wanted to give some use of my Black Friday edition for once!)

• I am gonna skip the 4th gen altogether as I “recently” finished it in my DSs.

• The fifth gen won’t be skipped though, plan to use the same hardware.

You can figure out the rest, a combination of 3DS and Switch, I am honestly not excited about the Switch line though.

I don’t know about you, but my first android experience was with MIUI in 2020 (can’t remember the MIUI ver and Android ver) and I was confused af, then fast forward to multiple custom ROMs I think they have obfuscate a lot of functions along the way in AOSP that I just say fuck it and end up using the search setting function.

So in a nutshell, I ask for a change, but for the better.

It wasn’t 8 hours for me, but the last Nimbus skin of Kodi broke some ratings due their recent API upgrade or something like that… I was doing all kinds of troubleshooting, but the solution was stated in the changelog… Just clean up ratings cache 😃

My girlfriend played this game several years ago for the 1st time, she does not watch horror movies, heck, she even thinks most anime looks terrifying for her, but she found the 3DS version of this game a masterpiece to a degree as labeling as her favorite Zelda game (I am unsure if she prefers it over BOTW and TOTK though).

This is so nice, ngl, I crave for a Steam Deck (they don’t officially sell it in Mexico… We are so far from the USA right?) but I want it to get working with my old PC games backlog, indies, and well emulation.

I don’t see myself emulating older systems with it though, I feel it is too big and I’d rather save that power for a tinier handheld, but yeah, if you have one Steam Deck, you objectively don’t need anything else.
