Ann Arbor Michigander

My old Wemo smart plugs. Constantly lost connection and the app was so useless for resolving issues.
When they announced they were stopping support this year, I was wondering what they considered support beforehand. Also, there’s a class action lawsuit because of that.

Oh yay creepware. Anyone know a good launcher with support for tablets?

But, what about accuracy? For GM’s purposes, Strauss says accuracy is not a huge concern at the design stage because finer details are ironed out later in the process. “When it really starts to matter is when we’re getting close to launching a vehicle, and the coefficient of drag is going to be used for our energy calculation, which eventually goes to the certification of our miles per gallon on the sticker.” At that stage, Strauss says, a physical model of the car will be put into a wind tunnel for an exact number.
All in all, by drastically bringing down the time it takes to model the physics, large physics models enable engineers to explore a much greater range of possibilities before a final design is reached.
So this is really just to help iterate on early designs without waiting 2 weeks each time to get feedback on if a design is problematic. This is actually a really great use of machine learning.
He definitely knew by the last season of Clone Wars.

You gotta reach people where they are. Twitter doesn’t have as many eyeballs as the others.

I just checked if there were any controls for this on Android. As far as I could tell, you can only toggle it on/off.
Off clears the history, but I wish we could do more than all or nothing. I don’t need a history of more than a week at most.

Any job will require a mix of hard and soft skills. Both are important, and both need training.

I wonder if it’ll become a moral action to learn a bit more about how to make art unassisted.

Depends on how they’re made. Eggs I make in my carbon steel pan are awesome.

The Supreme Court is taking up a case on whether Paramount violated the 1988 Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) by disclosing a user’s viewing history to Facebook. The case, Michael Salazar v. Paramount Global, hinges on the law’s definition of the word “consumer.”

I’d agree security needs more attention when developing protocols and products, and I’d also consider Bluetooth simple. That being said, I know plenty of folks that don’t like the Bluetooth pairing process, especially those without a technical background.
Fast Pair is really convenient, and I’d say it can open the door for a lot of new experiences, but I do wish the developers put more effort into their TARA.

They don’t have active noise cancelling.

All the more reason to use my IEMs… At least when I’m not flying.
So no pressure!
The sacred glyph!
Reject humanity, return to wheat

That sucks that you got banned with such a vague reason.
I stopped using my Reddit account after they blocked Sync from working. I still use the site now and then on the browser for casting a wider pop culture net and niche content, but I’ve tried to shift to the Fediverse where I can.
8.1 addressed my issues.

Whitmer is only governor through 2026. Dems still have their primaries to rally behind a candidate, and Detroit’s mayor, Dan Gilbert, is running independent.
