Secret identity of Corn Man, who wears a suit powered by ethanol?

A year ago. It took about 9 months to find something which was a good value proposition beyond just being a home to live in, and my wife wasn’t ready to move before that.
Just as a real example, 70-80k/year is very feasible in the Philadelphia area. I saved up around 90k across a decade (with a worse income…) and bought a place for slightly over 350k. The thing is you NEED that initial down payment amount to make those numbers work, PMI with less than a conventionally mortgage down payment is a debt trap. Most people aren’t financially literate, and people with large amounts of capital take advantage of that in the lending and real estate industries.
If you can settle or pool resources this all gets easier, and if you have disabilities or make poor financial decisions it becomes impossible and you rent trap yourself. Renting still makes more sense for people with jobs that move around, though.
People try to avoid known risk factors when pregnant, some stuff really is bad to roll the dice on. A lot of newly pregnant people also go overboard avoiding stuff that’s classified as dangerous. It’s not an unusual thing to say.

3·7 months agoI don’t disagree with the content of the article, but this is AI written from a low quality (known for being unreliable) source. This is the type of content designed to amplify sentiment instead of shed light or do useful critique.
Looking online, it’s up to around 50 cents an ounce, personally I’m drinking cafe El Morro, it was around 2.50 for a 10 oz brick, but it’s a lot cheaper if you order direct now with price increases. Also it’s pretty good coffee.
Sorry to hear that. It has the potential to not be a high stress job, but obviously everyone is different. Just responding to the constraints that were presented, though.

Conservative@sh.itjust.works•Trump administration shields Israeli official charged with child sex crimeEnglish
1·8 months agoAs of right now, we have both the Israeli and US governments saying they didn’t intervene, an August 27 court date, and questions about why they granted this guy $10k bail as a non-citizen. I think somebody local probably fucked up, honestly, but the article title is wrong about the facts.
Having a hard line Zionist attorney general appointed for NV sucks, but there’s no reason to think she’s involved. Gotta wait and see if Israel is willing to extradite or if he returns on his own recognizance, as unlikely as that is.
I got curious and looked for an explanation, apparently ducks are illegal goods in The Far Side. The wolves are even snorting quack.

2·8 months agoThe grand jury info was sealed by a federal court, but nothing about the Supreme Court. The big missing public info would be the state files that the DOJ has from 2007ish. The federal prosecutions of both of them were unsealed almost fully AFAIK.
I think they might be misinformed, or just trusted comments without sources.
Sounds like an Irish postal code

Games@sh.itjust.works•GamingOnLinux: Valve gets pressured by payment processors with a new rule for game devs and various adult games removedEnglish
3·9 months agoFor unrelated reasons, yes, but I’m considering the possibility that payment processors know they’ll be asked to prove they aren’t facilitating illegal transactions, and may have asked Valve to make purchase details available to them for that purpose. If Valve agreed to remove content from the store instead of blowing up user privacy, that would be a win.
But it might just be the PPs being dickheads.
The internet seems to think it’s because rabbits naturally hop so he’s putting a jumping rabbit in a different, absurd context. I don’t really get it though.

1·11 months agoI enjoyed it, too, about 200 hours worth with my wife on it. It had multiple crashes, BattlEye was forced with it, and the whole model was set up to make people rent servers from their affiliated server company for like 20$/mo. There were plenty of servers paid for by people to choose from beyond the official ones, but again it’s the same business model.
Heard good things about Helldivers but I’ve been too busy to buy more games lately.

32·11 months agoThis game is developed by the same company that made Conan Exiles, which was a worthwhile purchase at $5 or even $20 for the Early Access but is a horrible buggy mess. They’re just there for a cash grab and it’ll be the same in this case as well.
We must imagine Kif happy.

Yep, the Undying Lands over here.
